This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through https://varahion.com. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@varahion.com.

We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you use our contact form, we collect:

• Your name and (optionally) company name
• Your email address and (optionally) phone number
• Details about your enquiry, including the service required, an optional budget range, your project summary, and an optional preferred start date

We do not intentionally collect any special-category data. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your enquiry.

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work
• Send you an acknowledgement that we have received your message

Our lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We use a small number of providers to operate this website and handle enquiries. Each processes only what it needs to perform its function:

• Vercel hosts the website and runs the code that receives your enquiry.
• Resend delivers the enquiry notification to us and the acknowledgement to you.
• Cloudflare provides our domain and DNS, forwards email sent to our published address, and supplies the bot check on the contact form.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers above.

Some of our providers are based outside the United Kingdom. Our email delivery is configured to process in Ireland, which is covered by UK adequacy arrangements for the European Economic Area. Our hosting and domain providers are United States companies.

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the transfer safeguards those providers offer, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses. If you would like details of the safeguards in place, email us at hello@varahion.com.

This website sets no cookies.It also stores nothing in your browser’s local or session storage, and we use no analytics or tracking tools of any kind. There is therefore no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

The contact page loads one third-party script, the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check, from challenges.cloudflare.com. It is used solely to distinguish people from automated submissions. We have not enabled Cloudflare’s pre-clearance feature, which is the option that would set a clearance cookie.

We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it. Where an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact with you. Where it does lead to an engagement, the information becomes part of our client records and is kept for as long as that relationship requires, and then for any period our legal and accounting obligations demand.

Enquiries reach us by email. We do not operate a separate database of contact-form submissions, so deleting the correspondence removes the record.

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@varahion.com.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
